Objectives
1. To infuse a sense of fraternity and cohesion amongst IRTS officers.
2. To promote and safeguard interests of member and IRTS as a whole.
3. To act as a think tank to address the issues forming IRTS and Indian Railways.
Management
1. It functions at 3 tiers –
Indian Railways level which constitutes the Governing Council of Association. Governing Council consists of -
(i) President
(ii) General Secretary
(iii) Joint Secretary
(iv) Treasurer
(v) Presidents of zonal councils
2nd level is Zonal level. Zonal Council has 3 members
(i) President
(ii) Secretary
(iii) Divisional Secretaries
3rd layer is divisional layer
